NEED SERVICE HOURS?

Join our Teen Advisory Board!

Teen Advisory Board, or TAB, is a group of teens who work together to advise and advocate for ways the library can best support teens and the community. TAB members meet once a month at the library to share ideas, plan, and advertise library programs and events. By becoming a TAB member, you can:

  • Earn service hours
  • Turn ideas into action
  • Have fun, hang with friends, and eat snacks
  • Connect to new opportunities

TAB meets the first Saturday of every month, from 2:00 - 3:00 at the library. With the guidance of a librarian, TAB members use these meetings to turn ideas into action - all while hanging out and having fun. TAB is open to any teen ages 13-18. For more information, check out our TAB FAQ.

While both TAB and Library Volunteers can earn service hours, TAB members have a more focused and active role in library planning. It is possible to be both a TAB member and Library Volunteer, but it's important to note that Library Volunteer positions are limited, while our TAB member space is always open!

Interested in becoming a TAB member? Great! Check the Library Calendar for future upcoming TAB meetings and TAB-sponsored events.
